“The serene place was enveloped in crisp air. Signs of spring emerged gradually with the dawn. This artwork was created utilizing the indigenous dyeing method, katazome over hakusan silk pongee. The painting changes its colors and expressions with the changes of the seasons and with the change of lighting throughout the day. It embodies the magic of the world of dyeing.”
